The Surf Cooperative wants members to feel at home and so provides most food and soft drinks for members to tuck into. Alcohol is not provided (too difficult to cater for different levels of thirst!) so members are encouraged to bring supplies.
Friday:
- Snacks (crisps and nuts to tuck into after the drive down and washed down with…)
Saturday:
- Breakfast (bacon, eggs, toast, cereal, tea, coffee, juice)
- More snacks (like biscuits for afternoon tea)
- Dinner (something simple and healthy like marinated chicken, new potatoes and salads, or chilli con carne, or Thai green curry, plus dessert along the lines of chocolate brownies and cream)
Sunday:
- Breakfast (bacon, eggs, toast, cereal, tea, coffee, juice)
N.B. Members are very welcome to (and often do) go to the pub for lunch, at which point the group often divides between those who are re-fuelling for an afternoon surf and those who are pre-fuelling for a night on the West Country’s finest, whether it be Tribute, HSD, or Doom Bar.
